Kelly’s staunch support for veterans has translated into various pro bono work with the Veterans Chamber of Commerce, and it’s also had an impact on her law firm. She offers veterans a 20% discount on her legal services as a way to say “thank you” to everyone who has defended this country.
Supporting Our Furry Friends
Kelly loves dogs! (She has four!) It’s important to her that every dog finds a loving family, so she regularly donates to and supports Last Chance At Life. Last Chance is an all-breed rescue and adoption organization. They have a special fondness for Boxers, birds, and other dogs in need of medical care. Their focus is helping the animals in San Diego County, and they oftentimes, when space and resources are available, will pull animals from outside of San Diego County.

Kelly has four dogs and believes that every dog should have a loving family. She regularly donates to and supports Thrive Animal Rescue. Thrive is a no-kill shelter that cares for dogs until they find their furever home. Every donation helps with medical care, nutrition needs, and general support for these loving animals. In adopting from Thrive, suitability is important to them which is why they go to great lengths to find their dogs the perfect match. When reviewing an application, they take into consideration all aspects of the applicant’s lifestyle to best ensure that your new dog is A Forever Dog.
